LL.M. Student Handbook 2011-12
This Handbook is divided into five sections:
- Part 1 contains general information about the University and the Faculty of Law.
- Part 2 contains information about the structure of the LL.M. programme, and about the LL.M. examination.
- Part 3 contains information about researching and writing essays and theses in the LL.M.
- Part 4 contains the forms which you will need to use if you wish to write an essay or a thesis as part of your LL.M. examination.
- Part 5 comprises five appendices:
- Appendix 1 is the list of prescribed subjects for 2010-2011. It indicates the form in which each course will be examined and lists which subjects have been designated as ‘commercial’, ‘international’, or ‘European’.
- Appendix 2 is the list of Course Convenors, Faculty members to whom enquiries about each course may be addressed.
- Appendix 3 is the Faculty of Law’s Policy on Plagiarism.
- Appendix 4 is the University’s Statement on Plagiarism
- Appendix 5 is a list of useful University addresses.
