CIO 2007 will be held in the University of Cambridge, UK.
We have decided to organise this years meeting for Thursday 8th and Friday 9th of November. We are also planning a trip to Oxford to visit the Bodleian Law library on Saturday the 10th for those who are still in the UK, please contact db298@cam.ac.uk so we can get an idea of numbers. Unfortunately we have been unable to secure a room within the Faculty for our meeting due to an unconfirmed teaching schedule for 2007 > 2008. With this in mind we have decided to book a meeting room in Criminology who are located right next door, and whom we share close academic and teaching ties with.
Agenda
We have booked the Board room of Criminology to use as our meeting room. Criminology is located immediately next door to the Faculty of Law. Wireless computer access should be available within Criminology for all those bringing a laptop with them.
Here are some suggested agenda items for discussion most of which have been agreed although timings will change. Please do suggest other topics or let me know if any of you would like to give a talk as there is still some space in the schedule.Thursday 8th November

Accommodation
There are plenty of hotels in Cambridge but we would recommend the Cambridge Garden House Hotel based on its location. I have reserved a number of rooms which will only be held until the end of May. When booking please quote 'Law CIO 2007 Conference' to ensure that you get one of these rooms. All the rooms are Crown Executive rooms which include breakfast and based on single occupancy. The cost is £168 per night including TAX. Cheaper rooms are available but I was unable to 'block book' these.
Here are the contact details for Cambridge Garden House Hotel.

Getting to Cambridge
The nearest airport to Cambridge is Stansted airport which is located about thirty five miles away from the city centre but few major US carriers fly to Stansted from the US. Heathrow and Gatwick are the more likely London based options. I have included some links below will help you plan your travel in the UK.
