Monday, 24 November 2014 - 5.15pm

The first PhD seminar will be on Monday 24th November from 6.15 pm to 7.30 pm in the Law Faculty (Room G26). Space is limited for attendees so please book your place by emailing Barry at bs505@cam.ac.uk. We have three speakers with varied and very interesting topics:

Rajiv Shah'Unjust Enrichment and Contract – Closer Than You Think'

Christopher Sargeant: 'Holding Persons to Account Following a Death in Prison Custody in England and Wales: A Critical Analysis of the Effectiveness of the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman'

Stefan Theil: 'The protection of the Environment under the ECHR'

Please note that this is different to the Graduate 20x20 seminars which are to be held in January. The PhD seminars are open to PhD students only so we can have a more relaxed and informal environment for discussion and they will be run in 'regular' conference format with a 15 minute talk by each speaker followed by Q&A. Wine and nibbles will be available.
