CFLPP Seminar: 'Legislation as Communication? Legal Interpretation and the Study of Linguistic Communication' - Thomas Adams

The Cambridge Forum for Legal & Political Philosophy will host its fourth monthly seminar of the 2016-17 academic year on Thursday, 19 January, at 3:00pm, in Room B16 of the Law Faculty Building.

The seminar will be chaired by Dr Thomas Adams, who is currently a Fellow of Corpus Christi College.  For the reading, Tom has chosen about three quarters of a paper by Mark Greenberg, "Legislation as Communication? Legal Interpretation and the Study of Linguistic Communication". Unless you're really keen to read the whole paper, you should omit sections 2 and 3 and concentrate on the remaining sections.
