The Lauterpacht Centre for International Law invites applications for a part-time (0.6 fte) Research Assistant post, for a fixed period of five months, to work on a research project funded by ESRC entitled 'Legal Tools for Peace-Making Project'.

Under the guidance of Professor Marc Weller, the Research Assistant will provide support in dissemination activities related to the Language of Peace search tool, such as the preparation of workshops with regional organisations and other stakeholders, and the organisation of project-related trips. The Research Assistant will also assist with the further development of the Language of Peace and may be asked to provide background research into matters of international law and peace-making. Additionally, the Research Assistant will carry out various administrative tasks that emerge in the course of the project.

The Research Assistant will be based at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law, 5 Cranmer Road, Cambridge.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 5 months.
