The Faculty is delighted to welcome the establishment of the Prathiba M Singh Cambridge Scholarship. This scholarship will enable talented Indian students to study for the LLM programme in Cambridge. Eligible students for the scholarship will be those who show a strong interest in Intellectual Property Law and who intend to pursue a legal career in India.

Prathiba M Singh is a Senior Advocate practising in the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court. Until December 2013, she was the Managing Partner of Singh & Singh Law Firm in New Delhi which is a leading law firm for IPR/ telecom disputes. She is a leading litigation counsel in IPR matters and has handled several landmark litigations in India. She may be amongst the first IPR lawyers to be designated as a Senior Advocate.

Please note: the application deadline for the LLM at the University of Cambridge is earlier than most deadlines - 15 November 2013 for study in 2014-15. The Faculty's activities in the area of Intellectual Property are coordinated by the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Law.
