Two Cambridge PhD Students Awarded Diplomas at the Hague Academy of International LawTwo Cambridge PhD students have been awarded the Diploma of the Hague Academy of International Law. Fernando Lusa Bordin was awarded the Diploma in Public International Law, and Hayk Kupelyants was awarded the Diploma in Private International Law.

The prestigious Diploma is awarded each year to candidates attending the Academy's Summer Courses in Public and Private International Law, based on both written and oral examinations. Only selected participants on the summer courses may sit the examination, and very few are successful in obtaining the Diploma.
