Distinctions for Professor James Crawford

The Faculty congratulates Professor James Crawford on the award of an honorary doctorate by the University of Amsterdam. The degree will be conferred on the University Foundation Day on 8 January 2014.

The Faculty extends further congratulations to Professor Crawford on the award of a Chang Jiang Distinguished Chair tenable at Xi'an Jiaotong University for 3 years. This award, by the Chinese Ministry of Education is China's senior visiting chair, and is awarded competitively to recognize internationally renowned scholars in a specific area of expertise and to foster international collaboration with an institution of higher education in China.
