Philip Wood QC awarded CBE

The Faculty congratulates Philip Wood QC on his CBE for services to English and Financial Law. Philip is one of the world’s leading experts in comparative and cross-border financial law. He is one of a small number of outstanding individuals who have achieved exceptional distinction in both legal practice and in the academy.

As a Yorke Distinguished Visitor Fellow of the Faculty, for many years Philip co-taught a popular and successful LLM paper on International Banking Law and contributed significantly to the intellectual life of the Faculty.
