University of Cambridge Faculty of LawThe Faculty of Law has again retained its No. 1 ranking for Law in the independent Complete University Guide league table which was published today. The University of Cambridge also made it five years in a row by taking top ranking for all UK universities.

The table, compiled by Mayfield University Consultants, ranks universities based on the ten quality factors considered most important to students. Information is compiled from data from a broad range of sources including the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), the 2014 Research Excellence Framework, and the National Student Survey (NSS).

Chair of the Faculty Professor Richard Fentiman responded to the publication of the new league tables:

"It is very pleasing that the quality of the Faculty's teaching and research has again been recognised. We were the only law school to achieve the maximum possible score, based on our success across the board. Our exceptional 'student satisfaction' score is especially notable, reflecting our commitment to offering an unrivalled legal education in an environment where the best teaching goes hand in hand with the best research."
