Friday, 23 June 2017 - 4.00pm
Location:
Sidney Sussex College, Knox Shaw Room

Brexit TimeTo coincide with the anniversary of the UK's momentous referendum rejecting continuing membership of the European Union, a seminar and book launch will be held on Friday 23rd June at 4.00 pm at Sidney Sussex College to reflect on what we have learned about Brexit in the intervening year.

Academics and commentators Dr Victoria Bateman (economics) and Dr Chris Bickerton (politics) will join Professor Kenneth Armstrong (law) in analysing the shape and trajectory of Brexit as the negotiations for the UK’s departure from the EU get underway. The seminar will be followed by a drinks reception to launch Professor Armstrong’s new book Brexit Time: Leaving the EU – Why, How and When? (Cambridge University Press, 2017) which has just been published.

The seminar will start at 4.00 pm in the Knox Shaw Room. All welcome.

For more information about this book, please refer to the CUP website. For information about other publications by Professor Armstrong, see his Faculty Profile or follow him on Twitter @ProfKAArmstrong.
