On February 13th 2018 Tuesday, the Violence Research Centre at the Institute of Criminology, University of Cambridge, is delighted to host Mr Luke Harding from the Guardian and Professor Jason Sharman from the Department of Politics and International Studies at Cambridge for a discussion on "The Paradise Papers: Tax havens and offshore financing - what are the consequences for the society?".

Luke Harding is a Guardian foreign correspondent who has reported from Delhi, Berlin and Moscow and covered wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya.

Mr Harding has recently published the book "Collusion: How Russia Helped Trump Win the White House" and co-authored a second book "WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assange's War on Secrecy." He is part of the Guardian's team behind the Panama Papers and the Paradise Papers.

Professor Jason Sharman is the Sir Patrick Sheehy Professor of International Relations in the Department of Politics and International Studies at Cambridge, whose research interests range from the study of international corruption, money laundering and tax havens, to the global politics of the early modern world.
