Wolfson Humanities Society: 'Liberalizing Contracts: Nineteenth Century promises through literature, law and history'

Dr Anat Rosenberg, Wolfson College, Cambridge, will give a talk entitled: "Liberalizing Contracts: Nineteenth Century promises through literature, law and history"

This talk examines nineteenth-century liberalism, as developed through, and as it developed, the concept of contract, by placing canonical realist novels in conversation with contracts histories.

The talk is at 6pm in the Gatsby Room, Chancellor's Centre, Wolfson College. It is part of the lecture series organised by the Wolfson Humanities Society Refreshments will be served from 5:45pm and all are welcome.
