Speaker: Susan Marks

Susan Marks is a Professor of International Law at the London School of Economics. Her research covers themes such as democracy, poverty, torture, counter-terrorism and apology, exploring their character and significance as problems of international law and human rights. Her current work is concerned with exploitation and dispossession, and with some general questions to do with the prospects of systematic theory in international law. She also works with the International State Crime Initiative.

The event is organised by the Decolonise Law Student Group together with the CGHR Student Group.

The talk and Q&A will be followed by drinks with the speaker. All are welcome to attend.
