The Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Law(CIPIL) are looking for one or more individuals interested in doing some research assistance work within the Centre including, in particular, improving the resources available on our website concerning legal traveaux and historic documents and images related to intellectual property and information law. Research would involve collating and organising material, as well as potential writing up associated documented and commentary.

The successful candidate(s) will be paid as Research Assistants at Grade 5 (£13.76 per hour) and be employed by the University of Cambridge’s Temporary Employment Service (TES). Working hours would approximate 8-10 hours a week, although hours would be flexible according to deadlines agreed in advance. Payment will be arranged upon submission of timesheets to TES. Current Cambridge students must ensure that their work on the project does not contravene University policy about permissible working hours. TES will also verify the successful candidate’s eligibility to work in the UK.

If you are interested in the above work, send an email briefly outlining your relevant abilities and experiences together with an up-to-date CV and if possible the email of one person (for example, your supervisor) who could be approached for a reference by Monday 10 December.

Please to contact David Erdos if you have any further questions about the project or this advert.
