Faculty of Law, University of CambridgeThe Board of Electors to the Professorship of Law (1973) invite applications for this Professorship from persons whose work falls within the general field of law to take up appointment on a date to be agreed within the period 1 January to 1 October 2020.

Candidates will have an outstanding teaching record and a research record of international stature in their field of law and the vision, leadership, experience and enthusiasm to build on current strengths in maintaining and developing a leading research presence in the field. Applications are invited in all areas of law. Candidates are likely to hold a PhD or equivalent postgraduate qualification.

Standard professorial duties include teaching and research, examining, supervision and administration. The Professor will be based in Cambridge. A competitive salary will be offered.
