The Faculty and Travers Smith... believe that excellent academic research strengthens legal practice in the UK and beyond.Professor Brian Cheffins

The Faculty of Law is delighted to announce a generous donation from law firm Travers Smith, providing funding to support the Faculty's world class academic programmes and research activities. The firm's support to the Faculty includes bursaries for students undertaking the Masters of Corporate Law and funding for research seminars at the Faculty's Centre for Corporate and Commercial Law.

The Chair of the Faculty, Professor Brian Cheffins welcomed the gift, saying "the Faculty deeply values the support of Travers Smith. We share a commitment to ensuring that the brightest young people benefit from a wonderful legal education. The Faculty and Travers Smith similarly believe that excellent academic research strengthens legal practice in the UK and beyond."

Chris Hale, Senior Partner at Travers Smith said "Travers Smith is delighted to continue to support the cutting edge work of the Cambridge Law Faculty which benefits the whole legal community and which helps to ensure that the best students from all backgrounds can access the Faculty's world class teaching".
