The Exploring Law Conference was, until 2023, known as the Cambridge Sixth Form Law Conference.
The Exploring Law Conference was founded 50 years ago and is an exciting programme supporting Year 12 (Y13 NI/S5 Scotland) students who are interested in studying Law at university, by providing a balanced view of Law as an academic subject as well as a profession and offering an insight into life as a Cambridge undergraduate student.
The Conference is co-run by a Committee of seven undergraduate Law students and the Faculty of Law. In 2026 it will take place on 30 March - 2 April at the University of Cambridge.
Read the different sections of this page to find out more about date/place, content of the Conference, and eligibility criteria.
If you have any questions on any of the information, you can email the Faculty Outreach Coordinator, Ros, at outreach@law.cam.ac.uk.
The conference is made possible through the generous support of our Access and Widening Participation Partners.
Applications for the conference in 2026 are now open. Free and self-funded places are available.
