Postgraduate research  Finance overview  Funding  How to apply

The cost of studying at Cambridge is divided into two components:

1. University Composition Fee (UCF)

This is the fee levied for the teaching, supervision, student support and facilities you will receive and have access to from the University and your College. The value of the UCF is dependent on your fee status.

2. Maintenance

The estimated amount of money you should ensure you have available to cover your accommodation, living costs and general expenses during your time at Cambridge.

Details of the costs you are likely to incur as a graduate student are set out on the Finance Overview page of the University Graduate Admissions website.

A search tool on this page allows you to determine what your estimated fees and maintenance might be according to the course for which you are applying.
