Launch of the Copyright Cortex

Lionel Bently will give a short presentation at the British Library as part of the launch of the "Copyright Cortex". The Copyright Cortex is an information resource developed by Queens University, Belfast, and CREATe, at the University of Glasgow, that seeks to provide UK-based archives and other memory institutions with free, expert, objective and research-led commentary and analysis of copyright law as it impacts the digitization, access to, and use of digital cultural heritage. Other speakers will be Jill Cousins, Executive Director, Europeana; Ben White, British Library; and Professor Ronan Deazley (QUB), the project lead for the Copyright Cortex.
