CCCJ Seminar: 'Attorney General references: principles, practice and problems'

Professor Andrew Ashworth (Oxford) will introduce a seminar discussion about the power of the Court of Appeal to increase sentences following a referral by the Attorney General under the unduly lenient sentence scheme.

The seminar discussion will be preceded by a brief introduction to the newly-launched Sentencing Institute.
