Wednesday, 4 October 2017 - 6.00pm
Location:
Queens' College, Fitzpatrick Hall

On Wednesday 4th October Lord Falconer, Lord Chancellor 2003-2007, will deliver the annual Queens' Distinguished Lecture in Law.

He will lecture on 'The effects of the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 - has it strengthened or weakened our constitution?'.

All students and staff of the Faculty of Law are warmly invited to attend.

The Constitutional Reform Act 2005, of which Lord Falconer was the architect, introduced radical changes to the constitution and in particular to the relationship between the courts and Government. Lord Falconer, from his unique perspective, will consider the legacy of the Act and whether it has achieved its objectives.
