This event helps you get answers to all the questions you have about the Bar, from friendly junior barristers at a cross-section of chambers, from course providers, and from a student adviser from one of the Inns of Court.

What do barristers do? How does one manage the self-employed lifestyle, what are its ups and downs, what kinds of qualities does it need? Do you have to have a first – and if not, what else do you need to have? What do you need to do, and when do you need to do it, in order to meet the deadlines for application? How do you choose between specialisms, between Inns, between chambers, between courses? How do you progress your career?

Employers attending our events continuously stress that they are most impressed with those students who have done their research in advance.
