Saturday, 4 November 2017 - 10.00am
Location:
Fitzwilliam College, Trust Room

Bernard Richmond QC will lead a practical exercise to illustrate the realities of what goes wrong (and right?) in trials in the Crown Court.

Practical issues to be explored: What is the nature of an adversarial process? What does cross examination entail? How do you test evidence? How do you cross-examine?

Participation free and open to all interested in life in the Crown Court, but please register in advance with Professor Nicky Padfield on nmp21@cam.ac.uk, giving, name, email, College, and subject/year of study.
