Thursday, 17 October 2019 - 6.00pm
Location:
Queens' College, Fitzpatrick Hall

The Rt Hon Lord Justice Newey will speak on 'What does it mean? Some thoughts on interpretation'.

All students and staff of the Faculty of Law are warmly invited to attend. Reservation in advance is not required.

Each year since 2015 the Queens’ Distinguished Lecture in Law has provided eminent lawyers with a forum to present an original and sometimes provocative perspective on current legal problems and debate their views with a Cambridge audience. Previous lecturers are Lady Hale, President of the Supreme Court, Lord Grabiner QC, Lord Falconer QC, and the Rt Hon Beverley McLachlin, former Chief Justice of Canada.

The Queens’ Distinguished Lecture in Law is generously supported by Redress Solutions PLC.
