Wednesday, 26 February 2020 - 7.00pm
Location:
Faculty of Law, G24

The Cambridge University Human Rights Law Society (CUHRLS) will organize "What Happens Now? - Divorce, Civil Partnership and Cohabitation Explained" on 26th February.

With marriage rates at a historical low, and 42% of marriages in the UK ending in divorce, it is more important than ever to know the consequences of our relationships and what happens when they break down.

Come along to G24 of the Faculty of Law at 7pm on the 26th February to hear our panel provide answers to questions like:

  • Who gets the house?
  • Do I get financial support from my ex?
  • What if we weren't married?

There will be an opportunity at the end of the discussion for students to ask any lingering questions. No prior legal knowledge is needed, the event is targeted at those with no knowledge of this area of law.

G24 has step-free access via the main entrance to the Law Faculty.
