The Human Rights Law Society and the Disabled Students’ Campaign is excited to be welcoming John Horan, an anti-discrimination, employment, and human rights barrister, to speak at Queens’ College on Wednesday 1st March.

John was nominated for Outstanding Contribution to Diversity & Inclusion Award at the Chambers and Partners UK Bar Awards 2019, was listed by Power 100 (2016) as one of Britain’s most influential people with a disability, and was the first barrister to receive guidance from the EAT about disabled people’s rights before any court or tribunal. His talk is titled: “Using Shame: The Civil Procedure Rules, Disability and Me”, and the event is sponsored by Matrix Chambers.
