On Wednesday 10th of May Jon Roozenbeek, a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cambridge Social Decision-Making Lab, will be giving a talk about "why people believe things that aren’t true, and what to do about it”, as part of the Complicity Studies research network seminar series.

Dr Roozenbeek's research focuses on misinformation, vaccine hesitancy, online extremism and inoculation theory. As part of his research, Jon co-developed the award-winning fake news games Bad News, Harmony Square and Go Viral. Jon is also interested in social media research, agent-based modelling and natural language processing.
