** Unfortunately this seminar has been cancelled for the time being **

Speaker: Professor Catherine Malecki (University of Rennes 2)

The focus of this seminar will be on the latest developments in sustainable finance. In the wake of the EU Green Deal, step by step, the EU is building an impressive road map on sustainable finance. The EU Taxonomy Regulation is the cornerstone of the sustainable finance regulation. The proposal for a Regulation on the Transparency and Integrity of ESG Rating Activities is another essential component of the general European sustainable finance framework. The French Market Authority (AMF) plays a significant role in the new EU Strategy on Adaptation to Climate Change and confirms the European climate ambition to tackle climate change and to build a climate-resilient continent by 2050.

Catherine Malecki is Professor of Private Law, Rennes 2 University, France, and Senior Member of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF).

3CL runs the 3CL Travers Smith Lunchtime Seminar Series, featuring leading academics from the Faculty, and high-profile practitioners.
