Guest speaker: Emily Jackson
Emily is a Law professor at LSE. Her research interests are in the field of medical law, specifically reproductive rights. She served as a member of the British Medical Association Medical Ethics Committee, Deputy Chair of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority and a Judicial Appointments Commissioner.
She will be speaking about the global shifts in reproductive rights, with a focus on recent developments in the US and UK decriminalisation of abortion. There will be a talk and Q&A session, and the chance to join the conversation on one of today's most pressing legal and ethical issues.
