Join CULS x Cambridge Climate Society for a panel discussion on Climate Change and the Law!
The event brings together leading experts to explore how legal systems are adapting to the climate crisis following the ICJ's 2025 Advisory opinion.
Speakers include Dr Lovleen Bhullar (who will be covering the content of the ICJ Advisory opinion and its implications for climate justice in the Global South), Dr Markus Gehring (who will be covering how domestic and international legal frameworks translate climate commitments into enforceable action), and Richard Pearshouse from Human Rights Watch (who will be covering NGO perspectives on the challenges of climate litigation and enforcement).
The discussion will be chaired by Lea Weimann, PhD researcher in international climate law.
