The Centre for Public Law is hosting a seminar on The Chilean Constitutional Process, focusing on Chile’s recent failed constitution-drafting processes (2019–2023), with a broader emphasis on constituent power, popular legitimacy, failed constitution-making, and institutional responses to constitutional breakdown.

Professor Pablo Ruiz-Tagle will give a brief presentation drawing on themes from his recent CUP book, Five Republics and One Tradition (2021). This will be followed by an interview-style commentary and discussion led by Professor Lars Vinx.
