Conference: The Law’s Queer Paradox

This conference brings together Lena Holzer, Shannon Philip, and Vinicius Fortes de Barros for a conversation on the paradoxes of law in relation to gender and sexuality. The discussion will examine how legal frameworks shape, protect, and at times constrain queer and trans lives across different contexts, including gender regulation and sport, intersectional queer experiences, and questions of protection within state institutions.
