CUGLS Panel discussion: 'Long arc of criminal law in India'

The Cambridge University Graduate Law Society (CUGLS) is organising an event titled the 'Long arc of criminal law in India’.

It is imagined as a free-flowing conversation between Justice Anup Bhambhani of the Delhi High Court and Professor Anup Surendranath Executive Director of Square Circle Clinic.

The broad topic will include reflections on the Constitution of India and long-standing concerns about the death penalty, legal representation, preventive detention, and the lessons to be learnt from India’s experience so far.

The event will be followed by a drinks reception in the lobby.
