The Investments and Transactional Law Society is delighted to invite you to our inaugural event, focused on fund structuring and transactional strategy, featuring Aaron Stocks, Head of Transactions at Travis Smith.

This session will provide a practical and detailed discussion of the key legal, regulatory, and commercial considerations involved in setting up and managing a fund. Drawing on real-world experience, the event will explore structural options, compliance essentials, governance considerations, and the principal transactional issues that arise in fund formation.

Mr Aaron Stocks is the Head of Transactions at Travers Smith, where he focuses on strengthening trusted adviser relationships and embedding firm-wide efficiencies across teams. His practice spans UK and cross-border corporate finance, fundraising, shareholder activism and M&A for both corporate and fund clients, and he leads the firm’s work on listed funds, cash shells and special purpose acquisition company (SPACs). Aaron is widely recognised for his expertise in equity capital markets, M&A and fund formation, represents the listed private equity industry on the regulatory board of InvestEurope, and plays an active role in capital markets reform in London. He is ranked as a “Leading Individual” by The Legal 500 and described as “Highly Regarded” in IFLR1000.

We are keeping attendance intentionally limited to ensure a focused and interactive discussion. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

To secure your place, please complete the registration form.
