You are cordially invited to the Sixth Annual Wolfson Sir David Williams Law Society Event on Saturday 7 March in Wolfson College.

This signature event brings together a distinguished community of legal scholars, practitioners, and students for a day of rigorous intellectual exchange and networking.

The day is divided into two segments. You are welcome to join us for the afternoon program, the evening formal, or both.

The afternoon program (free to attend)

Feature: Two high-level panel discussions followed by Afternoon Tea.

Panel One: Environmental Regulation in the Era of Climate Change

Chair: Dr Tugba Basaran (Wolfson College)

Speakers: Prof Surabhi Ranganathan (Lauterpacht Centre), Prof Avidan Kent (University of East Anglia), Róisín Finnegan (Barrister, Six Pump Court).

Panel Two: Is the Architecture of International Justice Under Threat?

Chair: Dr Thomas Grant (Wolfson College)

Speakers: Prof Nicola Padfield (Emeritus Professor), Isuru Devendra (Barrister, 36 Stone), Dr Marie-Anne Coninsx (Egmont Institute – the Royal Institute for International Relations (Belgium) and the first EU Ambassador for the Arctic, 2017-2019).
