Friday, 19 June 2026 - 1.00pm
Location:
Faculty of Law, B16

At 1–2 pm on Friday 19 June Hughes Hall Law Society will be hosting Mr Kenta Kusano, Chief Executive of Singapore's leading legal database, LawNet. Mr Kusano will discuss legaltech, AI, and their impact on the legal profession. In particular, he will share his insights from attending LegalTechTalk, an international legaltech conference, in London.

Mr Kusano has attended and spoken at a range of fairs, exhibitions and conferences focused on the intersection between technology and the legal profession. He is an annual speaker at TechLaw.Fest in Singapore, a yearly convention which has featured a diverse range of speakers from government, the senior judiciary and the world of tech.

Mr Kusano will be accompanied by members of the Singapore Academy of Law, a statutory body responsible for legal development and training in Singapore, making this a worthwhile event to attend for anyone interested in qualifying in Singapore as well.

This event is open to all. Mr Kusano and his colleagues from SAL have extended their stay in the UK specifically to engage with students from Cambridge, so this is a unique opportunity which is definitely not to be missed!

If you are interested in attending, please register. Spaces are open to everyone; this is only to gauge how many people are attending.
