Dr Matthew Dyson appointed Bonfield FellowshipDr Matthew Dyson has been appointed as the inaugural holder of the Bonfield Fellowship in the University of Iowa Law Library. Dr Dyson is a Fellow and Lecturer in Law at Trinity College where he teaches and writes in the areas of tort, crime, comparative law, Roman law and legal history.

Dr Dyson's current scholarship explores the borderline between crime and tort in different jurisdictions. He is the author of many articles and book chapters, and he has edited two books with a third one forthcoming. While at the University of Iowa Law Library, he will continue his research on the relation between crime and tort.

The new Bonfield Fellowship was announced in October 2014, and is named in honor of Professor Arthur Bonfield, who directed the Law Library from 1985 to 2014. For more information please see the Iowa Law Library website.
