Faculty appoints new Development AssociateThe Faculty is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr William Thong as Development Associate for the Faculty of Law. William read Law at Magdalene College.

In this role, William will be working closely with the Chair of the Faculty, the Faculty Development Committee and Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations, so as to articulate our development objectives and build on the Faculty's relations with alumni and friends.

Commenting on his appointment William said: "While I was a student at the Law Faculty, I was grateful for the unparalleled educational opportunities I was given. I am therefore delighted to be working with Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations to enable that experience for future generations. I will support the Faculty as it continues to deliver world-class research and teaching. Central to this goal will be maintaining and developing links between the Faculty and its benefactors, ensuring that those who help us are kept informed of the progress of their gifts. It will also be vital to collaborate with the Faculty’s Access Officers and Schools Liaison Co-ordinator so that the Faculty of Law can attract the brightest minds from a wide variety of backgrounds."

William would be delighted to hear from alumni and friends with ideas on supporting our development work and philanthropic schemes. The Faculty of Law is extremely grateful for any contribution it receives, financial or otherwise.
