The University’s annual Alumni Festival is taking place from Friday 27 - Sunday 29 September 2024.
Cambridge Women in Law (CWIL) was launched in 2019 to mark the contribution of women in Law and, in particular, to celebrate the contribution of Cambridge alumnae both to legal practice and the wider world. The launch event marked the centenary of the passing of the Sex Disqualification Act 1919, when women were finally allowed to practise law.
