Speaker: Baroness O’Neill of Bengarve CH, Philosopher, former President of the British Academy, and former Principal of Newnham College
Homerton’s flagship public lecture series is named in honour of former Principal Dr Kate Pretty, and will this year be delivered by Onora O’Neill, Baroness O’Neill of Bengarve. Exploring the ways in which the concepts of justice and ethics have fused and diverged over the centuries, the lecture is of particular potential interest to students of Law, Philosophy and Criminology but offers food for thought to a wide general audience.
The lecture will be held at 5.15pm on Thursday 9th May, and will be followed by a drinks reception in Homerton’s Great Hall. The event is free, but registration is encouraged at: www.kateprettylecture.eventbrite.co.uk
