CV / Biography
Nabil serves as Fellow and Director of Studies in Law at Lucy Cavendish College. His research interests cover the fields of European Union Law, Human Rights, Access to Justice and Philosophy of Law.
In addition to his research and teaching, Nabil serves on the Editorial Board of the European Human Rights Law Review and is the Founder and Director of the Law Corner, a pro bono and public interest organisation dedicated to representing the underserved (on which see: https://thelawcorner.org.uk/)
Prior to moving to academia, Nabil practiced in the field of international dispute resolution, conducting litigation in the civil courts and arbitration in various fora. He regularly acted on cases relating to Business and Human Rights, Natural Resources, Competition, State Aid and Governmental work.
Nabil read Law as an undergraduate at the University of Cambridge, following which he pursued his graduate studies at the University of Oxford, where he graduated at the top of his year across the BCL/MJur/MLF in European Union Law. Prior to entering practice in London, Nabil took up a visiting research post at Harvard Law School.
