CV / Biography

Leslie Kosmin M.A.  LLM. (Cantab) LLM (Harvard) KC was admitted to the Middle Temple in 1973, was awarded the Chancellor’s Medal in English Law by the University of Cambridge in 1974 and was the holder of a John F. Kennedy Scholarship to Harvard Law School in 1974 – 75.  He was called to the Bar in England in 1976 and, while teaching at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, joined Erskine Chambers, the UK’s leading Company Law set, in 1977. He took silk in 1994 and was appointed a Deputy High Court Judge of the Chancery Division of the English High Court in 2001.   He retired from practice in 2011.

Leslie Kosmin is the joint author of "Company Meetings and Resolutions" (pub. OUP Dec 2008, 2nd edition Feb 2013) and advisory editor of Andrew Keay: "Directors Duties" (Jordans 2009).

Leslie Kosmin is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Law at the London School of Economics where he lectures in the LL203 Law of Business Associations (Company Law) course as part of the LLB programme.

Leslie Kosmin is a Bencher of Middle Temple.
