The Centre for Public Law is pleased to invite you to a talk by Professor Daniel Turp (University of Montreal), on "Brexit: An Act of National Self-Determination?".

One of the intellectual leaders of the Canadian province of Quebec's secessionist movement, Professor Turp teaches constitutional and international law at the University of Montreal. He was, from 1997 to 2000, a member of the Parliament of Canada for the Bloc Québécois and, from 2003 to 2008, a member of Quebec's National Assembly for the Parti Québécois. He has written extensively on issues relating to Quebec's independence, the Canadian constitution and public international law.
