The 10th Annual Cambridge Arbitration Day (CAD) will be held on Saturday, 26 April 2025 at Clare College, which is the second oldest college at the University of Cambridge. The 2025 CAD on “The 2020s and Beyond: Crises, Climate, and Technology” is scheduled to be held from 9am to 6pm on Saturday 26 April.
The tentative program for the event is as follows:
- Panel I: Geopolitics and Multiculturalism: Shifting Trends in International Arbitration
- Panel II: The Modernised ECT: Climate Change, Arbitration, and the Energy Transition
- Panel III: Arbitrating the Algorithmic Age: Challenges and Opportunities in Technology Disputes
- Panel IV: The Impact of Armed Conflict on International Arbitration: Disruption, Disorder, and Drivers
- Keynote Speech
This year, we are honoured to welcome Mr. Alexis Mourre, former President of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and Partner at Mourre Chessa Le Lay Arbitration, as our keynote speaker. We are also delighted to announce that Professor Campbell McLachlan will deliver the welcome address.
Coffee and lunch breaks, a wine reception, and a formal dinner with traditional candlelit settings after panels at the historical Clare College Dining Hall will provide participants and speakers with opportunities to further discuss the issues and network.

The expenses will be £15 for students to attend the conference and £25 for the formal at Clare College, for students. You can register online.
