Dr Michael Waibel wishes to appoint one or two research assistants to work on a research project on the law of treaties. An undergraduate or graduate degree in law is needed. Strong research skills, attention to detail and an interest in international law are essential.

The posts could be full-time or part-time for all or part of the summer or part-time for a longer period. The successful candidate will be paid as a Research Assistants at Grade 5 (£13.26 per hour) and be employed by the Temporary Employment Service (TES) at the University of Cambridge. Working hours will be flexible, with deadlines and working pattern to be agreed with Dr Michael Waibel. Payment will be arranged upon the submission of electronic timesheets to TES.

Current Cambridge students must ensure that their work on the project does not contravene University policy about permissible working hours. The Temporary Employment Service will verify the successful candidate’s eligibility to work in the UK.
