Lucy Cavendish CollegeApplications are invited for the post of College Teaching Officer (CTO) in Law and Fellow at Lucy Cavendish College. The post will ideally begin on 1st September 2021 and is tenable for three years.

The College has a new Admissions strategy which came into effect this academic year. As of Michaelmas Term 2021 it will be admitting students of all ages and all genders. The College will focus on groups that are currently underrepresented in the University, seeking by 2025 to represent UK society as a whole, and to increase numbers of international students, especially those from low income backgrounds.

The CTO will be expected to undertake teaching for the College and to assume the role of Director of Studies for Law. Students attend lectures within the Faculty of Law and have small group teaching (supervisions) within the College to consolidate their knowledge and to prepare for University examinations. The College is seeking a specialist in any field, including medical law, but with the expectation that the appointed person would be able to supervise one of the first year papers (Tort, Criminal law or Constitutional law) and a second foundation subject (Contract, Equity, EU or Land law).

Closing date for applications is 8am on Monday 7th June 2021

For more information about the post, and the College, see the Lucy Cavendish College website.
