Professor John Tiley

The Faculty is delighted to announce that Professor John Tiley is to be appointed Queen’s Counsel honoris causa. The appointment is made in recognition of his work in developing tax law as an area of academic study through his teaching, research and writing. This is an immense honour for John and fitting recognition of his pre-eminent contribution to the development of tax law in this country and elsewhere over many years. The appointment ceremony is on 30th March.
