Sutton Trust Logo Summer School in Law, Cambridge 2010

Between 4-6th August 2010, the Law Faculty hosted the annual Sutton Trust Summer School in Law for thirty sixth formers from around the country.  The scheme has hosted every year at the Faculty since 2000.

The aim of the Trust is to improve educational opportunities for young people from non-privileged backgrounds and increase social mobility. The week culminated in a mock trial featuring the 'death' of a student at the Cambridge Faculty of Law, with students playing all the major roles, including solicitors, barristers, and even defendant!  The case was presided over by Judge (Professor) Christopher Forsyth.

A video of the trial (part 1 and part 2) and a gallery of photographs are available from the events.
