A number of Faculty Members have recently been involved with major Government policy initiatives:

Professor David FeldmanProfessor David Feldman has been appointed Specialist Adviser to the Parliamentary Joint Select Committee on the Draft Detention of Terrorist Suspects (Temporary Extension) Bills. This committee is due to report in June.

Professor Feldman also gave oral evidence on Wednesday 30th March (with Professor Jeffrey Jowell QC of UCL) to the House of Lords Select Committee on the Constitution as part of their inquiry into the process of constitutional reform. Professor Feldman's written evidence submitted to the committee is available on his Faculty profile page.

Professor Sir John Baker gave oral evidence (with Richard Gordon QC of Brick Court Chambers) to the same committee on 23rd March, and on Wednesday 6th April, Mr David Howarth (with Tony Wright) also gave evidence to the Lords Constitution Committee in relation to the same inquiry.
